It is with pleasure that I welcome you all to France on the occasion of the European championships 2010 for Iaido.

It is not the first time that we host these championships. In the last year, the event took place in the Netherlands. This time we are happy to meet you all in PARIS. The recommended hotels are nice, as well as the sports hall.

As always we are looking forward to meet you again and I am sure that it will be a fine opportunity for all participants to see old friends again and to make new ones.

As, in previous years, both Iaido and Jodo championships took place in one week, this time they are separated and we propose a longer Iaido seminar with a refereeing part included in it.

We are certain that you all will have a wonderful time in PARIS and that the seminar and championships will be most instructive, as always, and will contribute to the understanding between all competitors coming from many countries of the European zone.
